泰國水患恐重創龍仔厝省水產業泰國產業聯盟(FTI)憂心，距離曼谷西南方35公里 遠、總勞動力高達50萬人次（多數為水產業）的產業重鎮龍仔厝省(Samut Sakhon)，近5千家廠商中有近半數不具備防洪防汛的能力，買屋網倘面臨水患恐損失50億美元。亦設廠於該省的泰國最大罐頭及冷凍水產品製造及出口商-泰國聯合冷凍食品(TUF) 總裁Thiraphong Chansiri表示，儘管目前工廠營運正常，為防範洪水進入塔金河的水道會流經TUF位於借錢龍仔厝省Muang廠區，將預先做好保護大型機械及設備、沿著工廠築起沙包牆及備好數座抽水馬達等工作嚴陣以待。（摘譯自INFOFISH Trade News, No. 20/2011，1 November 2011） FLOOD MAY HIT SEAFOOD 代償INDUSTRY IN SAMUT SAKHON Bangkok’s neighbouring province, Samut Sakhon could experience a loss of as much as 150 billion baht (US$5 billion) as severe floods are expected to hit the 室內設計province said the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI). About 35 kilometres southwest of Bangkok, Samut Sakhon is home to nearly 5,000 factories with a total industrial workforce of 500,000, 酒店經紀the majority of which are employed in the seafood sector, including SET-listed Thai Union Frozen Products Plc (TUF), one of Thailand ’s leading manufacturers and exporters of canned and 情趣用品frozen seafood products. More importantly, about half of the factories have yet to exercise flood-prevention measures, probably because they do not think the floods will affect their 酒店工作factories. TUF president Thiraphong Chansiri said the flood has not yet affected the company’s operations but they are monitoring the situation very closely. TUF’s plant is located in the 賣屋Muang district of Samut Sakhon, which lies in the projected path of the water flow from flooded areas to the Tha Chin River . The company erected a sandbag barrier around the factory’s 燒烤premises and has several water pumps on standby. Larger machinery and equipment are also protected.
